UNIVERSAL FIT
The SplashCap fits ANY of the three major medical irrigation bottles: Baxter, Hospira and BBraun; so there is no need to stock a new bottle. Just keep the SplashCap handy out on a shelf in the exam room, or place it in a drawer or store in a cabinet.
SAFETY & PROTECTION
For those that once poked a needle in bottle tops, you now don’t have to worry about the time or danger of the needlestick through the plastic. Even more importantly with the SplashCap, you now have a shield on the bottle for standard universal precautions against blood and bodily fluid splatter.
REIMBURSEMENT
Beyond the time savings and equipment saving and the improved productivity; “copious” high volume wound irrigation improves patient care. Therefore, in many instances, when using copious irrigation you may be able to bill at a higher level of complexity and care. Check with your billing representative to find out how the SplashCap might not only pay for itself, but also significantly increase your billings for the improved care you provide.
PRESSURE
Use two hands to generate more pressure for better wound cleaning. Use no hands for lower pressures for high volume eye irrigation.
