If an
irrigation device is placed Y feet above a ground surface, and a horizo=
ntal
stream is generated, then you can measure the distance the stream trave=
led
to determine the velocity of the stream exiting the nozzle. For the supporting equat=

the exiting velocity of the stream, you can calculate what the impact
pressure of the stream would have been had object been in front of the
nozzle, e.g. a wound. For
example, if you use two hands to squeeze an irrigation bottle held three
feet above the ground, with a SplashCap att=

and the stream travels 10 ft, then the stream impact pressure at the no=
zzle
would have been 7 psi.
